Terms and Conditions of Use

By registering as a member, I agree to be bound and comply with all the membership obligations as provided in Article 4, Section III of the Constitution of the Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Chapter.

• All categories of membership shall abide by the provisions of this constitution, rules and regulations guiding interactions and behaviors of members, and norms and practices of the association.
• All categories of membership shall diligently pay the prescribed annual dues, levies and fines within three (3) months of the due date.
• All categories of membership shall be dedicated and committed to the aims and objectives of the Alumni Association.
• All categories of membership shall comply, implement and be bound by the decisions, resolutions and directives of the required majority of members at any voting exercise, within the association.
• All categories of membership shall always act, treat and deal with other members of the association with utmost level of decorum and respect in discussions, writings and interactions.
• All categories of membership shall use all legitimate means within their capabilities to project and impress a good image of the association to non-member individuals and organizations, at any place, at all times.

Use of the Members’ Area

Upon successful registration and activation, members shall be granted access to use the Members’ Area.

In the Members Area, Members are granted access to monthly bulletins, meeting minutes and members database, personal profiles and other types of information. All such data are of a confidential nature and are to be held undisclosed outside of the designated (possibly restricted) circle of Members.

The Members Area is designed to offer various tools to allow Members to organize themselves as a network to interact with other members in the pursuit of the Association’s goals.

It is the responsibility of the Members to make sure that they do not include any confidential data in member applications that are automatically published in the Members’ Area. Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Chapter shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the publication in the Members’ Area of confidential data consecutive to the submission by a Member in his/her registration.

Data from the Members Area (text or other material) may not be disclosed or used outside the designated (possibly restricted) circle of Members of the Alumni Association without prior agreement from the author(s) of the data and in accordance with the Alumni Association’s Constitution.

Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Chapter cannot be made liable for the disclosure, or its consequences, by any Member of any confidential data (text or other material) submitted to the Website.

By registering as a Member, Users indicate that they are responsible for the non-disclosure of the data made available to them in the Members Area and that they will report any event of breach to this Non-Disclosure Agreement to the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association.

The Members Area offers various types of accesses to various areas, depending on the Member’s role. It is the responsibility of the Member to respect the confidentiality of the data he/she has access to in the various areas of the Website.
