Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Branch is blessed to have very capable hands at the helm of affairs. Our Executive members are seasoned individuals and professionals in their own right who work tirelessly to pilot the ship of the association in the right direction, while having much fun along the way.

Tunde Adeyemo, PhD is the President of Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Branch. He matriculated in 1988 in the department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and graduated in 1995 with a BSc. He completed his MSc in Electrical Engineering at University of Lagos in 1998 and PhD in IT (Information Security) at Capella University in 2012.
Tunde began his technology career in Nigeria, working for a number of organizations including Xerox Nigeria and a Smartcard startup. He relocated to Canada with his family in 2001 and worked for Young & Rubicam Canada as Network Manager. In 2007, the family relocated to the United States and Tunde worked at State Farm Insurance, Bloomington IL, as Security analyst and later Technical Architect. The family moved to Dallas TX in 2014 when Tunde joined Ernst & Young. He is a Senior Manager in the firm’s Digital & Emerging Technologies practice. Tunde has also been an Adjunct Faculty at Walden University since 2012. He is married to Opedile and they are blessed with a daughter, Fikunmi and two sons, Darasimi and Fife.

Olabisi Ayeleso is the Vice President of the Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Branch. She matriculated in 2002 and studied Management and Accounting from the Faculty of Administration.
She moved to the United Stated after graduation and started her career with PwC as a Systems and Process Assurance Associate. After gaining valuable exposures and experience in PwC as one of the Big 4 Public Accounting consulting firms, she transitioned to the industry working as an Internal Auditor for both private and publicly held organizations conducting Financial, Operational, Compliance and Information Technology Audits. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA).
Bisi is known for the enthusiasm and passion she brings to everything she does. One of her greatest passions is helping people feel belonged and respected while being in an authentic relationship with them.
Outside of her career, Bisi enjoys all types of board games, baking, cooking, planning events for friends and families, but most of all she loves spending time with her husband who is also a Great Ife alumnus and their four children Toluwalase, Temiloluwa, Tifeoluwa and Terioluwa.
Tosan ‘Trendy’ is the PRO of Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Branch. He graduated from the Faculty of Administration and Accounting in 1990 with a B.sc in Accounting. After graduating, he followed his passion and became the pioneer motoring correspondent for several magazines and travelled extensively as a journalist. He also managed his automotive business in Nigeria while briefly affiliated to a motor racing team.
He relocated to the United States in 2003 and first settled in Maryland. He became the USA bureau chief of celebrity African entertainment magazine, Ovation International, a role he played till 2009, the same year he moved to Dallas. He also founded Trendy Africa Magazine, a communications and media company which expanded rapidly in Texas and globally.
Tosan has since acquired additional certifications in Digital photography from UTA Arlington, Certified Network Security Specialist, Conflict analysis and Peace building certifications from the United States Institute of Peace. Tosan currently consults as a Regional Sales Executive with Axxess Technologies, Dallas. He currently resides in Mansfield with his wife Winifred and lovely daughters.
Taiwo Pitan is the Financial Secretary of the Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW Branch. He matriculated in 1985 and studied Demography and Social Statistics
He relocated to the UK in 1989 and studied Accounting. He began his career as a Financial Accountant with Anixter International before moving to the US in 1997 where he worked in various roles before starting his own Accounting practice in 2000 while also serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a large non-profit organization
Taiwo’s passion is partnering with small businesses and individuals to help them achieve their business or life goals.
He is married and is a proud father of three daughters

Simisola M. Asekun is a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a nurse. She resides in Mansfield, Texas with her family. She migrated to United States of America (USA) in 2002 shortly after her first degree in International Relations at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). While in the USA, she further obtained a bachelor degree in nursing (BSN) at University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Nonetheless, she has been practicing as a nurse for a decade. She is a bible believing Christian who revere God and cares about people. The golden rule of reciprocity and James 4:17 has been her guiding principle. She is an astute observer, a lover of peace with friendly personality.

Clara Iyere is the Secretary of the Great Ife Alumni Association, DFW branch. She matriculated in 1999 in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Economics.
While at OAU, she was the Welfare Officer of the Awovarsity Taekwondo Klub, catering to the needs of OAU's finest Taekwondo athletes while honing her own kills. She graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2005 and an MBA with a concentration in International Business from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 2009.
Since then she has explored a variety of fields, from programming to business analysis and now works as a Management Consultant with one of KPMG's project management groups. She is PMP and PMI-ACP certified.

Tayo Olajide is the Assistant Secretary of the Great Ife Alumni Association DFW Branch. He matriculated in 1995 and graduated from the faculty of Technology with a BSc degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2001. He was a student leader and the former Secretary of the Association of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Students(AMMES).
He started his career at the Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Victoria Island (now GTBank), as a Financial Controller. He applied his keen and scientific mind to solve and automate many of the bank’s financial data processing problems with collaboration from its IT department.
He proceeded to Howard University in Washington DC, where he obtained an MSc. in Systems and Computers Science.
At Howard University, he was the Ambassador for SUN Microsystems, where he led and ran programs that introduced cutting edge technologies from SUN Labs to undergraduate and graduate students. He later went to work at Goldman Sachs, New York as a Software Engineer in the Bank’s Financial Control and Corporate Tax departments. He is currently a Senior Engineering Consultant with Amazon Web Services, where he is leading many innovations in connected car and driverless car solutions. He is a lifetime member of the National Society of Black Engineers and the author of Caging Curiosity.
He is married with two kids, a girl and a boy, and the family currently reside in Plano, Texas.
